Dr. Abby Foust

Abby Foust is a native of Florida where she developed her interest in veterinary medicine.  She pursued an Animal Science degree at the University of Florida where she was accepted into the early admissions program at the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine.  After completing her doctorate she entered a small animal rotating internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa, Florida.  Dr. Foust returned to the University of Florida to complete a residency in small animal dermatology.  During her residency, Dr. Foust conducted award-winning research on feline dermatophytosis and has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals.  Dr. Foust, a board certified dermatologist, has been working at MedVet since the summer of 2007.  Her interests include the diagnosis and treatment of allergic dermatitis, fungal disease, and autoimmune dermatoses.
