O. John Kralovec
O. John Kralovec is the Chief Executive Officer of MedVet and is responsible for administrative, operational and support functions for MedVet Columbus and Cincinnati. Mr. Kralovec joined MedVet in 2009 and serves on the MedVet Board of Directors.
Prior to joining MedVet, Mr. Kralovec had a 30 year management consulting career in human health care where he has been a nationally recognized expert in strategic planning, continuous quality improvement (CQI) and process redesign. Mr. Kralovec also directed the annual “100 Top HospitalsTM – Benchmarks for Success” Study and has been involved in the development of human healthcare benchmarking methodologies and best practice models throughout his career.
Mr. Kralovec began his career with Ernst and Young, where he was a Senior Manager in the Operations Improvement Consulting Practice. He was an Executive Vice President with First Consulting Group, leading the National Health Care Management Consulting Services group. Mr. Kralovec also served as Senior Principal and National Practice Leader with William M. Mercer directing the Health Care Performance Improvement Practice. Prior to joining MedVet, Mr. Kralovec was the Founder and President of workREDESIGN®, providing healthcare management consulting services focused on improving clinical and operational performance.
Mr. Kralovec’s healthcare clients have included: Stanford University Medical Center; University of California, Irvine Medical Center; UCLA Medical Center; Georgetown University Medical Center; Johns Hopkins Health System; University of Pennsylvania Medical Center; University of Nebraska Medical Center; Allina Health System and Innova Health System.
