Our specialists are highly trained veterinarians who have undergone extensive, post-graduate training in a specific field of veterinary medicine. We have the most board-certified veterinary specialists under one roof in the Midwest.
In addition to four years of undergraduate study and four years at an accredited veterinary college, specialists must spend another four to five years of specialized training in an internship and residency program.
To become board-certified, veterinary specialists must also complete rigorous clinical training, research, scientific publication and examination requirements.
